Hi everyone,
High street shopping can sometimes feel a little soulless when thinking of all the big brands and mass-market retail places. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy browsing through the mainstream shops. But most fashion lovers would agree that small designer boutiques are the unique places where many hidden treasures can make an outfit special.
I recently had the pleasure to meet Kati who works as one of the four designers for the Hungary based label ARTISTA. Their printed graphic pieces have become one of their typical trademarks.
Their collections in particular include a mix of generous and minimalistic pieces (most obvious in the Autumn/Winter 13/14 collection) and I love their edgy touches with many contrasts of opposites. For example, feminine and masculine or elegant and sporty elements are often combined with each other.
