Happy holidays everyone!
A foodie girl like me enjoys to start the first day in a new city with a good food market. The Paddy’s Market in Sydney’s China town is exactly the place I wanted to be.
This is the breakfast produced with all of my market goodies.
… never waste the delicious young coconut flesh 🙂
China town is just across the road.
We had our first Okonomiyaki in Miyajima (Japanese island) and tried it again here in Sydney.

With our bellies filled, it was shopping time and we hit the Westfield shopping center.
Around Christmas you can expect many impressively decorated Christmas trees, but this one really awakened my inner child.
Also the elegant Au-Laduree is located in the Westfield shopping mall.
The beautiful Celine Trapeze bags are also very popular in Sydney.
With having my shoes from Nine West secured, I went to Incu to fetch my Mansur Gavriel bag … but how naive, LOL, of course: Sold out.
Some random decorations here
This is the Lindt Cafe where the recent Sydney siege took place. It was still closed and I outside I still felt a very sad atmosphere.
The memorial at the Martin Place
Harbor Bridge
Opera House
After a long day of strolling around and much excitement, we decided to dine at an Asian restaurant just below the Opera House and watch the sunset.
Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope I could convey some of my first impressions of this beautiful city.
Love from Sydney,

Thank you dear June! Wow, such a coincidence! What I especially loved about Kolkata was the people and how friendly they were. I have a lovely friend who lives in Kolkata too.

Haha, that food market looks like the one I grew up with. With elderly Asian aunties yelling out prices as you pass by mountains of fresh fruit and vegetables. That lego Christmas tree has a special place in my heart as well. Loved legos growing up.
Your trip looks amazing! Seems like you’re eating your way through Sydney one delicious meal at a time. I’m so jealous! Can’t wait til I can go there myself 🙂
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!
