Hi everyone,
As you have probably seen on my Facebook page, I’ve started to exercise again and joined our local gym. While I’ve always been working out regularly (running, classes in the gym or weight lifting), in the last 3 months I pretty much neglected my fitness routines and – as you know – it’s not easy to get back on track. So I wanted to share this project with you to hold myself accountable and maybe inspire others too.
The key for me is to get into a good routine first and let it become a habit later. Once it’s a habit I don’t think and just do it like brushing my teeth or getting my daily shower. So the hard bit is the start π
Here is what I’ve planned to do:
2 times per week: Gym workouts (exercises on machines and weight lifting)
3 times per week: Jogging ( 30-40 min)
Please let me know if you are also planning to take on exercising or have already started. It would be great if you could share your weekly exercise plan?
Today I’d like to end with a quote by Jim Rohn:
“Take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live”
Thank you very much for stopping by,
Mahshid

I actually just workout at home, following exercise videos in Youtube. My favorites are workouts by Jillian Michaels. They kick my butt! I love it. You’ll really feel that you get stronger the more you do them. Fitness Blender is another favorite Youtube channel as well. Really nice and they usually just use dumbbells and body weight for the exercises.

Dear Jen, I could talk non stop about exercise and health. I soon get my certificate to become a personal trainer and also have attended various nutritional and health seminars and courses. LOVE the topic π I enjoy Youtube for my workouts at home too and I like Joanna Soh’s channel. I know the Youtube channels you’ve mentioned but I have never worked out with them. I also enjoy jogging outside and am right now in my running gears to hit the road π XXX and <3 <3

Girl after my own heart! I love taking care of my body. It’s part vanity, part health. I am fascinated with the feeling of getting stronger every few weeks. It’s a slow process but it’s so fulfilling! I’ll go check out Joanna Soh’s channel. I hope it’s as hardcore as Jillian’s! π
