Office outfit with Stuart Weitzman Lowlands

Hi everyone,

It took me more than a year to finally take the plunge and splurge on a pair of Stuart Weizmann Lowlands.

The reason why it took me so long was that I really wasn’t sure about whether I would get a lot of wear out of them, in and off duty (besides the extortionate price tag).

Today I worn them in the office for the first time and now I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, they are office appropriate. I styled them a bit dressier than in the outfit below by wearing them with shorts and a pair of black tights. Even on a meeting, I was not even sure if most colleagues have actually noticed that I was wearing thigh high boots, which is a good thing 🙂 I really didn’t want to appear like I was trying to enter the pretty woman territory, LOL.

So, if you like me work in a semi-smart office environment and have reservations about wearing something daring like these Stuart Weitzman boots then don’t despair. I would start with a subtle approach to get more comfortable with the pieces you’d like to wear to work and gradually up your styling game. At the end of the day, nothing is more important than feeling confident and comfortable in whatever you are wearing.
